Alligator Queen

While cruising in the comfortable, canopied (and all-weather) Alligator Queen, you will hear about wetlands ecology, wildlife, the exiled Cajuns and the rich cultural legacy of the Spanish Lake Basin.

Old Cypress

You'll be inspired by the beauty of giant old-growth cypress trees. See a green, moss-draped alligator swamp, a 700-year-old cypress tree with five-foot-tall knees, and the spectacular Cypress Flats, a lake of lightning-burned cypress trees teeming with egrets, herons, ibis, cormorants and hundreds of bird species migrating along the Mississippi River Flyway.
