It's On The Way If you want to learn more about Alligator Bayou, basin ecology and cultural history, hang on just a little longer. We're about to publish a general interest book that will be available in the Duck's Nest Shoppe and by way of the Internet. It will feature a fascinating, in-depth history (never told before), a chapter by Kermit Braud on Cajun folkways, tales of swamp creatures, Creole recipes and much more! Both the educator's guide and the general interest book are significant additions to the knowledge base and will be of great interest to most people. The research was done by Frank Bonifay, Jim Ragland and Judy Pennington, and the books are being written by Judy, a professional writer and the author of an award-winning 1999 coffee table book on Baton Rouge. |
